That someone…

That Someone...

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. Continue Reading »

Right or Wrong?!

Recently, I came across this story which really created a huge debate amongst friends. Lets see What do you think about it?

This story has 5 characters – Tan Man, his fiance Liz Liance, Tan Man’s good friend Mr. Wood, an old man Mr. Goldman and a sailor Mr. Tailor.

The five decide to go on a voyage. Unfortunately, they encounter a fierce storm. Their ship is about to sink. They quickly get into the closest life boat to save themselves.

Mr. Goldman, Mr. Tailor and Liz Liance ends up on one boat and Mr. Tan Man his good friend Mr. Wood in another.

Both drift away in opposite directions and land on two different side islands. Liz Liance is dying to get back to Tan Man and so she requests Mr. Tailor the sailor to take her back. He agrees to take her back provided she agrees to sleep with him. She goes to Mr. Goldman. He asks her to look over the situation and do what she thinks is best. So she sleeps with Mr. Tailor and he takes her back to Mr. Tan Man. Continue Reading »

Is Your Partner Two-Timing You?

Love is blind but the betrayal is an eye opener. Love may be a dream taking you on cloud #9 but there is a nightmare side of it, the betrayal!

love_triangle_by_exotic_freak Have you ever wondered why your  selfless, cheerful and caring girlfriend is being either so sweet or making you feel superior or she not worthy of you or why your boyfriend gets so tensed or nervous in a normal conversation just in a second?…to the extent of making you feel sick?  Then it is time to gear up your psyche for some trouble that is approaching!

With a little bit of observation anyone can detect if someone is lying, with some slightly obvious answers. You can always figure out the difference between, A genuine smile which glows up the face and A fake smile which appears in an instant and poof! disappears in seconds. It should serve as a warning that something is up. Continue Reading »

Love and Betrayal

Love and Betrayal are nothing but two side of a coin.

The day we start loving and caring deeply about someone. There! We open a small window for betrayal.

You never realize when that the deep love and care becomes an obsession or that craving and curiosity to know everything about your partner which your partner might not necessarily like or see the actual care beneath it. Love is neither hazardous nor healthy for a person. It’s just a phase which can come at any time in your life.  You do feel good when everything is working out. The day it stops, BAM! You feel terrible, you feel fear of losing and at the end it will consume you. No relationship is easy nor is it hard. It totally depends till the mutual understanding, care, transparency is there between them. The day truth is replaced by lies; the demonic betrayal rings the warning bell for your relationship. Relationship does not come with a guarantee card that it will be life long, no matter what we imagine in the joyful early stages of relationship, it definitely gets you later. The key is to cover that bruises and deep wounds in your heart, remain a romantic at heart.

There is nothing satisfying than love; and, therefore, betrayal makes us drop to our knees, beg, lose self respect and dignity and make us believe that we will never trust anyone in this life again. Unfortunately, many people react by trying to shield themselves in ultimately destructive ways by withholding intimacy, manipulating partners, and testing everyone they meet. This only insures another miserable relationship. Continue Reading »

Baggage – Weighs you down, let it go!

People who have been hurt in the past and carry psychological damage and unresolved anger/rage into present relationships, in a gist Baggage. Baggage, everyone has baggage! Sometimes people are still reeling from a nasty break-up or a recent negative experience; sometimes the hurt is worse — the aftermath of abuse.

No matter what the cause, the romantic lives of the Walking Wounded are steered by their damaged psychology — they live in worlds of chaotic emotion where logic has no place. The best of them need time to heal and regain their equilibrium and trust; the worst are experts at self-deceit and self-sabotage, often absolutely blind to their behavior and its consequences on everyone’s lives.

We all run into them at one time or another. Sure, you can stick to the small talk and pretend it’s not there, but sooner or later…you just have to let them go if they just deny living in the present! If you don’t no matter how great things are going at first, sooner or later, it’s going to get ruined. When you find out what her/his baggage is it’s there, you don’t know what it is, but when you do, party’s over. Continue Reading »

Review: Samsung I9100 Galaxy SII

I am pretty sure by now every gadget freak must have shared their opinion about Samsung Galaxy SII 19100. I just wanted to share my own experience about this Super Smart Phone from Android Noob’s perspective.

Samsung Galaxy SII

Galaxy SII comes in nice carbon black paper thin package, as light as the package itself is, the phone is incredibly light in weight. The moment I held it in my palm I was assured that’s it! This is it all I wanted in a smart phone ends here! The phone which is outgrowing its limits speed, sleek, super cool display and many more amongst its features bucket! Galaxy SII simply makes an impression to get carried away with it in just a minutes! :)

The overall handling of the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II is pretty good for a device this size. Single handed use is possible due to its slick body. Of course, a screen this size has its implications on the actual handling. I do think though, they did the best they could in terms of ergonomics with a phone this big and this slim.

Bangalor-ified – II

It has been 4 months, I am striving hard to settle here in Bangalore. Before I forget and start to crib one good thing about this city I need to acknowledge is, this city has most amazing weather unlike Mumbai where its Super Hot in Summer, Winter depends when Monsoon goes and of course, every one knows about 26/7 Mumbai flood. Bollywood has even made a movie about it! *facepalm*

RajdhaniFood-wise: If you are pure vegetarian and a FOODIE, this place is definitely not for you. I am  struggling to adjust with Dosas and various types of South Indian Rices. All I crave Day/Night is home cooked, junk and some cuisines back from Mumbai. I used to visit Rajdhani for Gujarati thali occasionally back there but here, I visit almost thrice a week just to eat Gujarati Food! #JustImagine  If you are watching your weight than stay away from here. Authentic Gujarati and Marwadi food items with a great taste. Must visit if you are REALLY hungry.

Internet Connectivity-wise: They say Bangalore is the IT Hub and all! Seriously, WTF! I am so pissed with the pathetic Internet Service I have got in this last 3 months! I have tried 2 ISP’s and damn same thing you pay exuberant sum and you get snail speed!

Firstly, I opted for Hathway Internet Connection, considering their reputation back in Mumbai. Hatway Logo Initially, it worked fine ONLY for a day and then it was dropping all the time. In just 5 days, replaced a router still the same.  They did something, replaced some cabling but it wasn’t working out I sent them the logs from the router. They agreed its dropping but nothing was done to resolve it. I called everyday, followed up with e-mails with the router logs all for a waste. They left me no choice but to stopped the service.I already informed them to take their modem and stuff! Guess, what?! Nobody has showed the face yet!

Map of Mumbai

This is a Map of Mumbai according to local Mumbaikar! ;) :P

Bangalor-ified

Bangalore Bangalore or Bengaluru as they say it is a city with wonderful people and a great climate. There is no utopia and the downside is that Bangalore nightlife is frankly dire by Western standards. State laws mean that all the bars and I guess, pubs have to be closed (and that is closed, not last orders) by 23.30 every night. Not that bothers me much yet though but come on what’s wrong to keep reputed pubs or discs open at least till 1-2am?! There is nowhere I could find in a nice vegetarian food for now almost one and half month and not even a spot that would even vaguely resemble anything approaching a crazy night spot for some food at the middle of the night like I used to have back in Mumbai. Still Bangalore is a great place for those who want calm, slow and peaceful life, If you want great nightlife then you are in the wrong city. Next comes the language, most of the people knows Hindi and English but when you are in a public transport or some public place you will hear only Kannada. These are the days I am realizing the importance of the language! Kannada, it sounds totally alien to me and it looks like Jalebi when they write it! LOL! We even had inside joke on it in:

Indra: Anyone wants Jalebi? (while walking on streets)

Friend 1: Yes, where is it?!

Indra: There, on the bus! (They use orange LED’s on bus for the display written in Kannada which resembles Jalebis) :P

Indra,Friend 2,3 & Me: LOL!

Keys Hotel, Hosur Road First 10 days of my stay was in a Keys Hotel, Singsandra. I am really not sure why this highly reputed Hotel should be in a wrong place?! Even though its like in busy road, It used get dreadfully silent  by 8! But in case, if you are visiting Bangalore I would never suggest this hotel to stay for! Everything from here is like 20kms away. You have to go by Taxi or a Rickshaw to reach anywhere you want. Moreover, duh! They have terrible vegetarian food almost the same menu gets repeated all the time! C’mon! that’s not something I expect when I’m paying like 3000 bux for a night! The staff was extremely professional and helpful there. Room was well designed with all the things you need in it! I would rate my experience 3/5 there. Continue Reading »

Me, Mumbaikar!

MumbaiAt last, the day has come when I’ll be leaving my city, Mumbai. The place where I was born and earning my living up till now! It seems very odd to leave this city that has given so much and showed many aspects of the life to me. Memories, they are everywhere here! Let it be a junk food stall, place of education, play ground or my office. This is not just city to me, its everything. I’m related to it and it is related to me. No matter what happens it is the closest thing in my heart and I feel and I quote till my last breath,

I’m one with Mumbai and Mumbai is one with me. I was born here and grew up there; there’s no escaping it. We’re like Siamese twins, if you separate us, I’ll die.
